MedEasy Technologies Private Limited, together with its affiliates, subsidiaries, and group companies (collectively referred to as “MedEasy”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), is the owner, operator, and publisher of the digital healthcare platform branded as “MedEasy”, which includes but is not limited to:
the website www.medeasy.ai and its subdomains,
mobile applications (Android, iOS),
software platforms, dashboards, APIs, and integrations,
telehealth, diagnostics, pharmacy, employer health tools, and AI-enabled services
(collectively referred to as the “Platform”).
MedEasy operates as a technology-enabled healthcare facilitation platform that connects patients, doctors, clinics, diagnostic laboratories, pharmacies, doulas, midwives, employers, and allied healthcare providers through digital tools and services.
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”), together with the Privacy Policy, Subscription Terms, and any additional policies published by MedEasy (collectively, the “Agreement”), govern your access to and use of the Platform.
This Agreement applies globally, including but not limited to users located in:
India (governed by IT Act 2000, DPDP Act 2023, Telemedicine Guidelines),
United States of America (HIPAA where applicable, FTC regulations),
Other jurisdictions, subject to local data protection and healthcare regulations.
If you access the Platform from outside India, you do so at your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with applicable local laws.
Individuals who search for healthcare providers, book appointments, consult online, access health records, purchase medicines, book diagnostics, or subscribe to health plans.
Licensed medical professionals who create profiles, provide consultations, generate prescriptions, upload records, or offer healthcare services through MedEasy.
Healthcare establishments including clinics, hospitals, pathology labs, imaging centers, and collection labs using MedEasy for patient management, bookings, reports, or payments.
Including doulas, midwives, wellness practitioners, therapists, and similar professionals authorized to provide non-emergency healthcare services.
Organizations using MedEasy’s corporate health dashboard to manage employee wellness programs, health benefits, subscriptions, and reports.
Each category may be subject to additional terms specific to their role.
MedEasy provides technology facilitation services only and does not:
practice medicine,
provide medical diagnosis,
guarantee treatment outcomes,
employ doctors or healthcare providers.
Services include but are not limited to:
Doctor listings and profile discovery
Online and offline appointment booking
Teleconsultation (chat, voice, video)
Digital health records and reports
Diagnostics booking and lab integrations
Medicine ordering and pharmacy facilitation
Subscription plans (individual, family, employer)
Wallets, credits, and promotional balances
Health content, blogs, feeds, and Q&A
AI-assisted triage, symptom guidance, and recommendations
All medical services are rendered independently by healthcare providers.
By accessing or using the Platform, you confirm that:
you have read and understood these Terms;
you acknowledge that these terms are legally binding on you.
you have the authority to accept these Terms on behalf of others (where applicable).
If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using the Platform.
You must be at least 18 years of age to register for and maintain an account.
Minors may use the Platform only under supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
Employers must have authority to enroll employees.
Healthcare providers must hold valid licenses under applicable law.
MedEasy reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updates will be notified via:
Platform notice,
email,
in-app notification.
Continued use after updates constitutes acceptance.
MedEasy aligns its Platform with:
Indian IT laws and healthcare regulations,
US HIPAA (where PHI is processed),
GDPR-aligned data protection principles,
Local telemedicine and health compliance norms.
Users acknowledge that regulatory requirements vary by geography, and MedEasy’s role is limited to facilitation.
Users may be required to provide:
name, contact details,
identity verification,
medical or demographic data,
payment information (processed via secure gateways).
Users are responsible for maintaining accuracy and confidentiality of credentials.
MedEasy acts as a tech intermediary under applicable law. We are not responsible for:
accuracy of medical advice,
quality of treatment,
provider conduct,
outcomes of consultations or procedures.
This Section applies to all patients, caregivers, family members, and individual users accessing the Platform for healthcare-related services (“End-Users”).
MedEasy enables End-Users to discover, connect, and interact with independent healthcare providers. MedEasy does not:
control medical judgment,
supervise healthcare delivery,
guarantee provider availability or outcomes.
All healthcare decisions remain solely between the End-User and the healthcare provider.
To access certain features, End-Users must create an account by providing accurate and complete information, including:
full name,
mobile number and/or email,
age and gender,
location,
optional health information.
End-Users are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of information shared. MedEasy shall not be liable for errors arising from incorrect or outdated information provided by users.
Users are responsible for safeguarding login credentials. Any activity conducted through the account shall be deemed authorized unless reported otherwise.
MedEasy is not liable for losses caused by unauthorized access due to user negligence.
MedEasy may provide access to digital health records, including:
User-created records: Uploaded by the user (reports, prescriptions, test results).
Provider-generated records: Created by doctors, clinics, diagnostic labs, or allied providers using MedEasy tools.
Health records generated by providers remain the responsibility of the respective provider.
MedEasy does not verify, edit, or validate medical records.
Users must contact the original provider for corrections or clarifications.
Health records may be stored on secure servers in India, the USA, or other jurisdictions, in compliance with applicable data protection laws.
MedEasy does not guarantee uninterrupted access to records due to technical or regulatory reasons.
If you manage records for dependents (children, elderly parents, family members), you confirm that:
you have lawful authority and consent,
you assume responsibility for data usage and access,
MedEasy bears no liability for disputes arising from such access.
MedEasy facilitates online consultations via:
text/chat,
voice calls,
video calls.
These consultations are conducted by independent healthcare providers.
Use of teleconsultation services does not establish a doctor–patient relationship between MedEasy and the user.
Teleconsultation:
is not suitable for emergencies,
may have clinical limitations,
depends on internet and device quality.
Users agree that MedEasy is not responsible for misdiagnosis, treatment outcomes, or clinical decisions.
If you experience a medical emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. MedEasy is not an emergency healthcare provider.
MedEasy may offer AI-enabled tools such as:
symptom checkers,
triage suggestions,
care navigation,
provider recommendations.
These tools are intended for informational and assistive purposes only.
AI outputs do not constitute:
medical diagnosis,
treatment advice,
clinical opinion.
Users must always consult qualified healthcare professionals before making medical decisions.
AI tools rely on algorithms and user inputs. MedEasy makes no guarantee regarding accuracy, completeness, or suitability.
Users may book appointments:
online (teleconsultation),
offline (clinic/hospital visits).
Availability is determined by providers.
Providers may impose cancellation or no-show policies. MedEasy may enforce platform-level restrictions for repeated no-shows, including temporary suspension of booking privileges.
MedEasy is not liable if a provider cancels, reschedules, or becomes unavailable.
MedEasy facilitates payments via third-party payment gateways. MedEasy is not a payment processor or bank.
Fees displayed are indicative and set by providers. Final charges may vary based on provider policies.
Refunds, if applicable, are governed by:
provider cancellation policies,
subscription terms,
applicable law.
MedEasy does not guarantee refunds unless explicitly stated.
MedEasy may offer wallets, credits, or promotional balances for use on the Platform.
Wallet balances are non-transferable.
Cannot be redeemed for cash.
Subject to expiry and fair usage policies.
MedEasy reserves the right to modify or withdraw wallet programs at any time.
MedEasy acts only as a facilitator between users and licensed pharmacies.
MedEasy does not manufacture, store, or sell medicines.
Certain medicines require valid prescriptions. Users are responsible for compliance with local laws.
MedEasy is not liable for:
quality of medicines,
delivery delays,
adverse reactions,
pharmacy errors.
Diagnostic services are provided by third-party labs and collection centers.
Sample collection may be conducted by labs or their agents. MedEasy does not supervise diagnostic procedures.
Diagnostic reports are generated by labs. MedEasy does not verify or interpret results.
Health articles, blogs, and educational content on MedEasy are for general awareness only and must not be treated as medical advice.
This Section applies to all doctors, medical practitioners, allied health professionals, doulas, midwives, therapists, and wellness providers (collectively, “Practitioners”) who register, list, or provide services on MedEasy.
All Practitioners listed on MedEasy act in their independent professional capacity. Nothing in this Agreement shall be construed as:
an employment relationship,
a partnership or joint venture,
an agency relationship between MedEasy and the Practitioner.
Practitioners retain full professional autonomy and responsibility for their services.
Practitioners must:
hold valid licenses, registrations, or certifications as required by applicable law;
comply with medical councils, professional boards, and regulatory authorities;
ensure compliance with telemedicine guidelines applicable in their jurisdiction.
MedEasy may request documentation at any time for verification.
Practitioners are responsible for maintaining valid credentials at all times. MedEasy is not responsible for monitoring license expiry or disciplinary actions.
Practitioners may create profiles containing:
qualifications and specializations,
experience and areas of practice,
clinic or hospital affiliations,
consultation fees and availability.
Practitioners warrant that all information provided is accurate, current, and lawful. MedEasy is not liable for inaccuracies.
All profiles are hosted on MedEasy’s Platform. MedEasy reserves the right to:
edit, verify, or remove content,
suspend or delist profiles,
display profiles across MedEasy and partner platforms.
Practitioners are expected to honor booked appointments. Repeated cancellations or non-availability may lead to penalties or delisting.
All medical advice, prescriptions, diagnoses, and treatment decisions are solely the responsibility of the Practitioner.
MedEasy does not supervise or validate clinical decisions.
Practitioners providing teleconsultation services must:
follow applicable telemedicine guidelines,
verify patient identity where required,
maintain professional conduct and confidentiality,
refrain from prescribing prohibited medicines online.
Diagnostic laboratories and collection centers listed on MedEasy operate independently.
All test reports, interpretations, and findings are the sole responsibility of the diagnostic provider.
MedEasy does not validate diagnostic accuracy.
Doulas, midwives, and allied providers must operate strictly within their legally permitted scope of practice.
Such providers must not represent themselves as licensed medical doctors unless legally authorized.
Employers may use MedEasy’s corporate dashboard to:
offer health benefits,
manage subscriptions,
view aggregated wellness reports.
Employers shall not access individual medical records unless explicitly permitted by law and employee consent.
MedEasy provides employers only aggregated, anonymized insights unless otherwise authorized.
Practitioners and authorized contributors may publish health-related content, including articles, videos, and posts.
All published content is for informational purposes only and must not be treated as medical advice.
By uploading content, contributors grant MedEasy a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, distribute, and modify such content.
The Q&A feature enables general health information exchange and does not constitute medical consultation.
Practitioners must not:
provide diagnoses,
prescribe medications,
solicit patients,
share personal contact details.
Users acknowledge that responses are general information only and must consult professionals before acting.
Users may submit ratings and reviews based on personal experiences.
MedEasy may moderate, remove, or hide reviews that violate platform policies or applicable law.
MedEasy is not responsible for the content or impact of user feedback on practitioners’ reputations.
MedEasy reserves the right to:
suspend or terminate accounts,
report misconduct to authorities,
cooperate with investigations.
All Platform software, branding, interfaces, and proprietary technology belong to MedEasy.
Unauthorized use, reproduction, or reverse engineering is prohibited.
